The government is set to take action against hundreds of individuals involved in large-scale corruption over the past two to three years.
According to senior journalist Mohammad Malick, corruption amounting to over Rs. 2,000 billion allegedly took place during this period. Initially, action will be taken against 500 individuals.
The journalist stated that a list has been compiled naming 500 people, including politicians, bureaucrats, and contractors involved in corrupt practices.
He further claimed that the government expects to recover approximately Rs. 500 billion from these individuals.
