Bunny’s Limited (PSX: BNL) has commenced commercial production at its newly established bread production line in the I-9 Industrial Area of Islamabad, according to a filing submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
The company stated that trial runs have been completed and operations are now underway. The new Islamabad facility has an installed capacity equivalent to approximately 25 percent of Bunny’s existing bread production line in Lahore.
To support distribution, the company will operate through warehouses across multiple cities, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, aiming to serve the northern regions of Pakistan.
Management expressed optimism that the expansion in production capacity and geographical reach will enhance the company’s overall profitability.
