Bureaucrats to Receive Training on International Standards

The government has decided to align the training of bureaucrats with international standards. The Establishment Division has announced its decision to implement training programs in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. Specifically, the Secretariat Training Institute (STI) will adopt the ISO 21001 framework to enhance the quality of training for civil bureaucrats. To achieve this, the Secretariat Training Institute has invited tenders from reputable firms to assist in implementing these standards. The Establishment Division has issued a statement emphasizing that the initiative aims to improve public sector governance, ensure accountability, and promote transparency. As per the announcement, interested firms can submit their bids by September 22, 2025, in compliance with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules. The Establishment Division further highlighted that the Secretariat Training Institute will play a pivotal role in enhancing the professional capacity of civil bureaucrats, ensuring they are equipped to meet modern governance challenges effectively.
