CDA Cancels Layout Plan of Grand Vista Apartment Project

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has canceled the layout plan of the Grand Vista apartment project, sponsored by Glade Vista Builders (Pvt) Limited, located at Murree Road Expressway, Zone-IV. According to a notice issued by the CDA, the project’s layout plan was approved in June 2023, subject to the completion of all formalities within 30 days. However, the project developers failed to fulfill the terms and conditions of the approval, despite repeated notices and warnings. The CDA issued a show-cause notice on March 27, 2024, directing the project developers to explain why action should not be taken for non-compliance and unauthorized marketing and sale of the project. However, the developers failed to respond, leading to the cancellation of the layout plan approval. The CDA has informed the administration of Grand Vista of the cancellation through a notice, stating that the approval issued on June 23, 2023, stands canceled due to non-compliance and unauthorized activities. This decision is likely to affect the project’s future, and investors and buyers may need to reassess their investments.
