Chashma Sugar Mills Limited (CSM) has announced the approval of a strategic amalgamation with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ultimate Whole Foods (Private) Limited.
The decision, approved by the company’s Board of Directors, marks a significant step towards streamlining operations and enhancing the group’s financial and operational efficiency.
According to a notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the amalgamation process has formally commenced, with the application for the merger submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The proposed effective date for the merger is June 10, 2025, or another date specified by the Registrar of Companies upon completion of the process.
The company stated that this move is expected to improve administrative efficiency, strengthen the group’s financial position, and align operations for long-term growth.
Chashma Sugar Mills Limited, headquartered in Islamabad, operates multiple factories in Dera Ismail Khan, including sugar mills and an ethanol fuel plant.
