FBR to Test-run Rating and Reward System Today

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will test-run the rating and reward system today. This system was developed under the recent transformation plan for the tax machinery. The FBR has directed all Customs field formations about the Rating and Reward System. The Rating and Reward System under the transformation plan has been developed and is ready for the test run. In the previous correspondence with the field formations, all the Chief Collectors/Director Generals of Customs and Chief Commissioners-IR/Director Generals-IR were requested to ensure that all the cadre officers of PCS/IRS BS 17 and above have updated their email addresses and mobile numbers in the HRIS logins, so as to make the field formations technically ready for the Rating and Reward process. In this respect, a test run of the Rating and Reward System will be conducted in the time window of 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, i.e., 21 January 2025, and this time will be solely dedicated to conducting the peer rating only, with no other official assignment. The officer shall log in to the system at 2:30 P.M. to give sufficient time for troubleshooting. All the officers will receive an email in their updated email addresses linked with HRIS for conducting the peer rating process. After successful login into their accounts, a pool of certain officers who had remained their peers will be reflected to them for rating, and the officers have to rate them equally in categories from A to E. All the field formations must submit a certificate by 4:00 PM today, to confirm their readiness for undertaking the rating and reward process. For further facilitation, if someone doesn’t receive an email regarding this, a clickable link to the Rating and Reward system will be provided to the field formations from today.
