Gold prices in Pakistan climbed further on Wednesday, following the trend in international markets.
In the local market, gold per tola was priced at Rs. 410,278 after rising by Rs. 3,500 in a single day.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose to Rs. 351,747, up by Rs. 3,001, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just a day earlier, on Tuesday, gold per tola was priced at Rs. 406,778 after a daily gain of Rs. 3,178.
The international price of gold also climbed on Wednesday. According to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $3,890 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $35 increase during the day.
Silver prices followed suit, rising by Rs. 50 per tola to reach Rs. 4,826.
