After climbing for three straight days, gold prices in Pakistan dropped slightly on Monday.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 1,800, settling at Rs. 338,800 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 1,543, now being sold at Rs. 290,466.
It is pertinent to mention here that price of gold posted a record-breaking increase of Rs. 19,600 per tola in the last three days that took its price to Rs. 340,600 per tola on Saturday.
The global gold market also saw a dip on Monday. The international price stood at $3,218 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking an $18 drop for the day.
