Gold Rate in Pakistan Decreases for Fourth Time This Week
The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 460 per tola and was traded at Rs. 358,595 on Thursday as compared to its sale at Rs. 359,055 on the last trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported. It is pertinent to mention here that the price of the precious metal has declined in each of the previous three days this week, making today’s decline the fourth in four days. The prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also decreased by Rs. 394 to Rs. 307,437 from Rs. 307,831 and for 10 grams of 22 Karat it came down by Rs. 361 to Rs. 281,827 from Rs. 282,188. The rates of per tola and ten-gram silver also dipped by Rs.58 and Rs.49 to Rs.3,820 and Rs.3,275 respectively. The price of gold in the international market decreased by $6 to $3,372 from $3,378, whereas that of silver came down by $0.83 to $36.37, the Association reported.
