Huge Fee Imposed on Cash Withdrawal From ATMs of Other Banks

Banks have started increasing the per-transaction fee for cash withdrawals at automated teller machines (ATMs) from banks other than the account’s host bank, raising it from Rs. 23.44 to Rs. 35.00. ProPakistani has determined that banks have even started charging their customers at the new rates of Rs. 35 per transaction at non-host ATMs. Almost all commercial banks have updated their schedule of charges and have jacked up the charges on cash withdrawals through their ATMs from customers of different banks. According to 1LINK, it passes on the maximum charge to acquirer banks (Rs. 28)  and keeps the minimum charge (Rs. 7).
