IPAK Group Profit Rises by 673% to Rs. 704 Million in 1QFY26

IPAK Group has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs. 704 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The strong financials reflects a sevenfold increase from Rs. 91 million recorded in the same period last year.  Earnings per share (EPS) rose to Rs. 1.14 from Rs. 0.35 a year earlier. Consolidated net sales grew 33 percent year-over-year to Rs. 10.19 billion, driven by higher demand and improved capacity utilization across BoPP, CPP and BoPET film lines. Gross profit increased 73 percent to Rs. 1.76 billion, while operating profit rose 83 percent to Rs. 1.43 billion, supported by better margins and tighter cost controls. Finance costs declined 14 percent on the back of lower borrowing rates and efficient working capital management. Exports surged 52 percent to Rs. 2.43 billion, accounting for 25 percent of total revenue, compared to Rs. 1.59 billion in the same quarter last year. On a standalone basis, IPAK Limited posted a profit of Rs. 183 million, up more than ninefold from Rs. 20 million last year. Earnings per share also rose eight times, even as standalone sales slipped slightly to Rs. 2.95 billion from Rs. 3.43 billion. “The results show that our capacity leadership is now fully translating into profitability,” said the Group Chief Executive. “The synergy of efficiency, scale and exports is driving sustainable earnings growth across all entities.” Building on its record performance in FY2025, IPAK Group remains focused on expanding exports, enhancing utilization and developing high-value specialty films to strengthen its position as a regional leader in flexible packaging.
