LSE Capital to Invest Rs. 150 Million in Pakistani Online Gaming Company

LSE Capital Limited (PSX: LSECL) has decided to invest up to Rs. 150 million in the form of convertible equity facility in a leading online gaming company in Pakistan, the company informed the main bourse on Friday. The company also approved an investment of up to CA$ 500,000 (Canadian dollars) for taking up to 20 percent equity stake in JV mode with InfoTech Pakistan, for the full acquisition of a Canadian-based software company involved in the development/provision of sovereign tax software solutions, subject to the required approval of the State Bank of Pakistan. LSECL has also approved the second term sheet for the complete disinvestment of equity shares from Ensmile Limited by selling the remaining 50 percent equity holding (i.e., 2.52 million shares at the rate of Rs. 71.29 per share) to other sponsors of Ensmile Limited with the transaction closing date of December 31, 2024. LSE Capital Limited is a Modaraba Company and its principal object is to initiate, sponsor, promote, float, organize, manage, administer, and operate modaraba companies, modaraba funds, and modaraba of all types and descriptions, mutual funds, unit trusts, and other similar concerns either in syndicates or otherwise. Currently, LSECAP is the Modaraba Company of Modaraba Al-Mali.
