Pakistan Railways Starts Manufacturing Green Line-Style Trains for Lahore-Karachi Route

Pakistan Railways has begun manufacturing new coaches locally using the latest technology to improve its services. This update was shared during an e-Kachhari in Lahore on Monday by Pakistan Railways Executive Officer Amir Ali Baloch. The top executive announced plans to introduce a Green Line-style train service between Lahore and Karachi in the near future to enhance travel options for passengers. Emphasizing the importance of passenger experience, he issued directives to improve the quality of food and beverages served on trains and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Acknowledging the department’s responsibility to provide a clean and comfortable travel environment, he urged passengers to cooperate by taking special care of cleanliness during their journeys.
