PRAL, KP Revenue Authority to Jointly Launch New Automated Tax System
Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Limited (PRAL) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) are working on the implementation of an advanced automated system aimed at modernizing tax collection and improving coordination between taxpayers and tax authorities. A PRAL delegation led by Chief Technology and Information Officer Abid Naeem and Head of Commercial Projects Farheen Azhar visited the KPRA on Saturday to present the new system, which is expected to enhance efficiency and transparency in tax-related operations. The system will feature end-to-end automation, a dedicated back-office setup for tax collectors, and a centralized dashboard providing real-time data analytics. It will also include advanced risk management tools. KPRA officials welcomed the initiative and recognized its potential to simplify tax procedures, enhance oversight, and improve the relationship between the government and taxpayers.
