The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has cleared Muhammad Nauman Chughtai as the chief executive officer and president of MCB Bank following his fit and proper test.
“It is hereby informed that the State Bank of Pakistan has cleared FPT of Mr. Muhammad Nauman Chughtai as President and CEO of MCB Bank Limited,” the bank informed the main bourse in a stock filing on Wednesday.
At the time of filing, MCB’s scrip at the bourse was Rs. 282.49, down 0.23 percent or Rs. 0.64 with 489,659 shares on Wednesday.
