Sindh Cabinet on Friday approved Rs. 3451.87 billion budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.
The Cabinet gave assent in a pre-budget meeting held under the Chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali at the Chief Minister House.
Sindh Chief Secretary, Provincial Ministers, Advisors, Special Assistants and officers concerned attended the meeting.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the budget proposals for the fiscal year 2025-26 were considered in the cabinet meeting.
He said that budget proposals were received from across the province on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Shah said that Pakistan People’s Party had always prioritized public and national interests. Sindh budget will be presented keeping in mind public priorities, he said adding that relief will also be given to the government employees in the budget.
