Pakistan Customs Gadani has foiled a narcotics smuggling attempt, seizing 169 packets of hashish weighing 188kg at the Kurkhera Check Post at a coastal town in Hub district, Balochistan. Market value of the recovered drug is estimated at Rs. 552.437 million. Seized narcotics concealed inside two large tyres of a container-mounted vehicle & person accompanying the vehicle have been taken into custody under Customs Act 1969. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) remains committed to combating smuggling and safeguarding illicit trade.
