The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has constituted a four-member committee to oversee and fully operationalize the International Center for Tax Excellence (ICTE).
According to a notification, the FBR, in pursuance of Section 230J of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, has established the International Center for Tax Excellence (ICTE).
To oversee and fully operationalize the Center, the Board has approved the formation of a Monitoring Committee.
Muhammad Iqbal, a Grade BS-21 officer of the Inland Revenue Service and the Member Admin/HR, will chair the committee. Other members include Member (Audit/CRM) Ahmad Shuja Khan, Member (Reforms & Modernization) Ardsher Saleem Tariq, and Chief (International Taxes) Fida Muhammad from the Directorate General of International Tax Operations.
