Innovista Becomess NCERT Tech Partner Under Cyber Innovation Ecosystem Initiative

Innovista (PVT.) LTD. has officially partnered with the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) as its Technology Innovation Partner under the National CERT’s Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during a ceremony held at the National CERT headquarters in Islamabad. The signing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT. He was accompanied by Brig. Rana Farrukh Saleem, Secretary NTISB, Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, and Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Training. Representing INNOVISTA (PVT.) LTD. were Saleem Arif, Executive Director; Awais Bin Siddique, Director of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs; Dr. Usman Zia, Director Technical; and Hisham Sarwar, Chief Executive Officer. This strategic partnership aims to advance national capabilities in cybersecurity through technological innovation, joint research, and skill development. As part of the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE), INNOVISTA will work closely with National CERT to develop cutting-edge solutions, support knowledge exchange, and foster capacity building in the domain of cybersecurity. Dr. Haider Abbas expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting that partnerships like these are critical to building a secure and self-reliant digital infrastructure for Pakistan. The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) serves as a dynamic and inclusive framework designed to bridge the gap between government entities, private organizations registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), academic and research institutions, and emerging technology innovators. By fostering a synergistic environment, this initiative seeks to drive cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, enhance cyber threat intelligence sharing, and build national resilience against sophisticated cyber adversaries.
