Iran Set to Shut Down Strait of Hormuz, Red Sea

Iran is set to completely close off the strategically critical maritime chokepoint famously known as the Strait of Hormuz after the United States illegally bombed its 3 nuclear facilities during the early hours of the day (Pakistan Standard Time). Several reports suggest the underground nuclear facilities are still safe, contrary to President Donald Trump’s claims that the US B-2 bombers completely destroyed them. Official confirmations will be shared later today. Prior to today’s US strikes, Iranian lawmakers informed state media agencies that the country will definitely close the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea if Trump joins Israel’s illegal war efforts. “Iran has numerous options to respond to its enemies and uses such options based on what the situation is,” said a member of the Iranian parliament’s National Security Committee presidium, according to international news. Yemen is expected to join Iran’s defensive efforts and resume targeting of US aircraft carriers and Israel-bound ships in teh Red Sea. The Strait of Hormuz lies between Oman and Iran and is the primary export route for Gulf producers such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Kuwait.
