Matco Foods Transfers Spice Packaging Business to Subsidiary Falak Foods

Matco Foods Limited has announced the transfer of its spice and masala packaging segment, operated under the ‘Falak Foods’ brand, to its wholly owned subsidiary, Falak Foods (Private) Limited. According to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated that this transfer is in line with its earlier disclosure made on May 9, 2025. By carving out and transferring the spice packaging business, Matco Foods aims to streamline its operations and strengthen the brand’s presence under the dedicated management of Falak Foods. The company has requested the PSX to inform all TRE Certificate Holders of this development. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has also been notified. Matco Foods Limited is a leading food company in Pakistan, known for its rice and spice products marketed under the Falak brand.
