NLC, DP World Complete 1st Commercial Cargo Delivery From UAE to Tajikistan

Pakistan’s National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and DP World, a Dubai-based global logistics giant, have successfully completed the first commercial cargo delivery from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Tajikistan, marking a milestone in efforts to expand regional connectivity and trade with Central Asia. According to Radio Pakistan, the two logistics partners transported 38 tons of automotive spare parts from Dubai to Dushanbe via Karachi. The cargo reached the Tajik capital in just 16 days along the Dubai–Dushanbe corridor, significantly faster than the 20 to 70 days it typically takes through other existing routes. NLC credited the achievement to its professional expertise and modern logistics infrastructure, stressing that Pakistan’s expanding logistics capabilities are increasingly facilitating trade flows across the region. Earlier this month, NLC and DP World also unveiled plans for “Pakistan Mart”,  a dedicated commercial hub near Dubai’s Jebel Ali port aimed at showcasing Made-in-Pakistan products to Middle Eastern, African, and global buyers. According to officials, DP World has pledged to construct the flagship project at zero cost to Pakistani stakeholders. The proposed Pakistan Mart will feature commercial units including warehouses, retail outlets, showrooms, and e-commerce fulfilment centres for Pakistani exporters and traders. It is envisioned as a one-stop marketplace to give Pakistan’s products greater visibility and access in regional and international markets.
