Worldcall’s Holding Company Launches Big Data and AI Center in Pakistan

GlobalTech Corporation (GTC), the ultimate holding company of Worldcall Telecom Limited (PSX: WTL) announced the establishment of a Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data services in WTL premises in Pakistan. The CoE is focused on product activation for Al & Big Data services across the region along with back-office support for GTC technology offerings. Worldcall Chairman Mehdi Al Abduwani inaugurated the newly constructed facilities marking a significant milestone in WTL technology transformation. The COE was at the core of GTC’s commitment to WTL growth and technology leadership. Pakistan won the Tech Destination 2024 award at GITEX Global and establishing a significant presence would ramp up WTL positing to market its products and services across the world. WTL plans to launch its own products in Al and Big Data space from this platform besides providing product development services to clients. In this respect, development works have been completed for CADNZ (An Al-Enabled digital lending platform) for launch in the USA and Middle East market. WTL would also be providing back-office services to GTC product sales teams across the globe. At the time of filing, WTL’s scrip at the bourse was Rs. 1.88, up 9.94 percent or Rs. 0.17 with over 397 million shares on Wednesday.
