5 More PSX Companies Added to MSCI Indices

Abbott Laboratories Pakistan and Searle Pakistan will be added to the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Pakistan Index after the close of trading on February 28, MSCI said in a statement. The index provider will also include BF Biosciences, Biafo Industries, and Power Cement in its Pakistan small-cap index while removing four from the gauge. These changes will take effect on February 28. According to more details, the Small Cap Index saw additions of BF Biosciences Limited, Biafo Industries, and Power Cement and the removal of AIRLINK, Askari Bank, Attock Refinery, and Searle Pakistan. As mentioned above, Searle will added to the MSCI Pakistan Index. Earlier this month, it was reported that MSCI was expected to add 6 more stocks from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to its indices.
