The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Friday announced a three-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to an official statement, the central bank will remain closed from March 31 to April 2, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) in observance of the public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr.
Earlier, the federal government also declared a three-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr for government offices.
A notification from the Cabinet Secretariat stated, “The Prime Minister has approved public holidays from March 31 to April 2 (Monday to Wednesday) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.”
Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be observed on either March 31 or April 1, depending on the sighting of the moon.
