Barkat Frisian Agro Set to Debut on PSX Tomorrow

Barkat Frisian Agro Limited (BFAGRO) is set to debut on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) starting tomorrow, March 7. The company’s shares will be traded on PSX’s main board under a T+2 settlement cycle, with the first settlement scheduled for March 11. The market lot of the company will be 1 share of Rs. 1 each. The Central Depository Company (CDC) has already designated BFAGRO as an eligible security, ensuring that all transactions will be processed through the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL). The company’s assigned trading symbol on PSX will be “BFAGRO,” as per the exchange’s notice. The opening share price has been set at Rs. 18.2 per share, based on the book-building process. CDC Share Registrar Services Limited will act as the company’s share registrar. BFAGRO will be listed under the “Food & Personal Care Products” sector in the PSX’s daily quotations. Furthermore, after reviewing its financials and business operations, the company has been classified as Shariah-compliant under the screening criteria of the KMI All Share Index. Upon listing, BFAGRO will also be included in the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index (KMIALLSHR).
