Barkat Frisian Agro Sets Up UAE Subsidiary to Enter GCC Market

Barkat Frisian Agro Limited (PSX: BFAGRO) has established a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates to accelerate its international expansion and strengthen its presence in the Gulf region. The new entity, Barkat Frisian Agro Global L.L.C FZ, has been incorporated in the Meydan Freezone in Dubai, BFAGRO announced in a stock filing today. The subsidiary will focus on boosting exports, increasing overseas sales, and building a stronger foothold in Gulf Cooperation Council markets. The company said the move aligns with its long-term strategy to enhance the Barkat Frisian brand internationally and create sustained value for shareholders. The incorporation of the new UAE-based unit was previously disclosed in the company’s prospectus. Barkat Frisian Agro added that the information has been shared with the exchange for dissemination to market participants and the public.
