Bunny’s Limited to Set Up New Bread Plant in Islamabad

Bunny’s Limited (PSX: BNL) announced on Wednesday that its Board of Directors has approved the installation of a new bread production plant in the I-9 Industrial Area of Islamabad According to the stock filing, the company will fund the project entirely from its own resources, with funds already allocated for the purpose. The planned facility will have an installed capacity equivalent to around 25 percent of the existing bread line at Bunny’s main plant in Lahore. The move is aimed at expanding the company’s geographical footprint to better serve northern regions of Pakistan. The board has also authorized the company’s management to carry out all necessary actions to complete the project. The company is principally engaged in the manufacturing of bakery and other food products.
