CCP Grants Approval for PTCL’s Acquisition of Telenor Pakistan

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has granted approval for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to acquire Telenor Pakistan, marking a major milestone in the country’s telecom sector. PTCL expressed its gratitude to the CCP for successfully concluding Phase II of the review process, commending the Commission’s diligence in safeguarding the long-term sustainability and future outlook of Pakistan’s telecom industry. “PTCL is grateful to the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) for successfully concluding Phase II of the review of its acquisition of Telenor Pakistan.
