The Capital Development Authority will auction a major portfolio of residential and commercial plots from December 22 to 24, offering new incentives and flexible payment plans.
CDA aims to attract both local and overseas investors. The three-day auction will take place at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad.
CDA said the auction will include a wide range of properties such as commercial plots in different Marakaz, E-11 Northern Strip plots, agro farm plots, petrol pump sites and retail spaces in the Blue Area Parking Plaza.
Several residential plots are also part of the offering, making it one of the authority’s most significant property events of the year.
To encourage participation the CDA announced that building plans will be approved once bidders pay the first 25 percent installment. Officials said this will allow buyers to begin construction without waiting for full payment.
Possession of plots will be granted after 75 percent of the amount is paid, while the remaining balance can be secured through a bank guarantee.
The CDA said the structure is designed to offer flexibility to investors who prefer staged payments.
For commercial properties, the authority has introduced additional incentives. Investors who make full payment within one month of bid acceptance will receive a rebate of up to five percent.
Another five percent discount will be available for buyers who choose to settle the payment in US dollars.
Officials said the combination of location variety, flexible terms and special incentives is expected to draw strong interest from domestic and international investors.
