FBR Reshuffles Over 4 Dozen Senior Officers

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has transferred and posted 49 officers of the Inland Revenue Service (BS-17-20) across the country with immediate effect. In this connection, the FBR has issued a notification on Tuesday. The IR officials, who were awaiting postings, have been given new assignments of Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and other assignments. The FBR has also changed some Commissioners of Inland Revenue (Refunds). A total of 18 Commissioners of Inland Revenue have been given new assignments under this notification including Commissioner Inland Revenue, (South Zone) Regional Tax Office, Islamabad; Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals-IX), Lahore; (Zone-II) Corporate Tax Office, Islamabad; Commissioner Inland Revenue, (Refunds) Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi. The officer is also assigned the additional charge of the post of Commissioner-IR (Zone-V), Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi; Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals-II), Karachi and Commissioner Inland Revenue, (Zone-I) Large Taxpayers Office, Lahore. The officer is assigned the additional charge of the post of Commissioner-IR, AEOI Zone, Lahore, as per the Rules.
