Gold Price in Pakistan Falls by Over Rs. 3,000 Per Tola in Two Days
The price of gold in Pakistan posted its second straight decline on Friday to settle at Rs. 284,700 per tola.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs. 2,500 per tola and was sold at Rs. 284,700 compared to its sale at Rs. 287,200 on the last trading day.
Yesterday, the price of gold went down by Rs. 700 per tola. Today’s decline has taken the decline in price over the past two days to Rs. 3,200 per tola.
The price of ten-gram of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 2,144 to Rs. 244,084 whereas the price of ten-gram 22-karat gold went down to Rs. 223,744, the Association reported.
The price of per tola silver decreased by Rs. 20 to Rs. 3,430 whereas that of ten-gram silver went down by Rs.17.14 to Rs.2,940.67.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $25 to $2,752 from $2,777, the Association said.
