Gold Price in Pakistan Remains Stable as Dealers Further Increase Discount
The price of gold in Pakistan remained unchanged on Monday as the dealers further enhanced the discount offered to customers.
According to data issued by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) stood at Rs 256,500, while the price of 10 grams stood at Rs. 219,907.
The Association said that the price of the precious metal has been kept under cost by Rs. 2,500 per tola compared to the international market. An increase of Rs. 500 on the discount offered towards the end of the last week.
Despite changes on the a day-to-day basis last week, the price largely remained stable with prices going down by a meager Rs. 300 per tola over the course of the week.
