Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new all-time high on Tuesday, following an upward trend in international markets. The price of gold per tola climbed by Rs. 2,550, reaching Rs. 317,350 in a single day.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs. 2,186, settling at Rs. 272,076.
This comes after Monday’s record-breaking increase, where gold per tola jumped by Rs. 1,100 to reach Rs. 314,800.
The APGJSA also reported a rise in global gold prices, with the international rate reaching $3,022 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $25 increase during the day.
Additionally, silver prices gained Rs. 25, closing at Rs. 3,555 per tola.
