The price of gold in Pakistan rose to a fresh all-time high on Monday after an increase of Rs. 4,000 per tola.
According to data issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold hit Rs. 303,000 per tola after an increase of Rs. 4,000.
The 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs. 259,773 after an increase of Rs 3,429, according to the Association. The price of 22-karat gold stood at Rs. 238,133 per 10-gram.
In the international market, spot gold traded near $2,902 an ounce, up $34.5 or 1.20 percent from the previous session.
