Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Thursday, following a record-breaking surge the previous day.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola held firm at Rs. 376,700 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also remained unchanged at Rs. 322,959.
On the international front, gold prices remained steady at $3,540 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
The price of silver in Pakistan also remained stable, with the rate per tola fixed at Rs. 4,315.
The stability in gold and silver prices comes after a period of significant volatility, with gold reaching unprecedented levels in the local market. Analysts suggest that the current trend reflects a temporary pause in market activity as investors assess global economic conditions and currency fluctuations.
