Gold and silver prices in Pakistan saw notable moves on Tuesday, with gold declining and silver holding steady at its record high.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 4,000 during the day, settling at Rs. 450,862. The price of 10-gram gold also fell, down by Rs. 3,429 to Rs. 386,541, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold per tola had climbed to Rs. 454,862 after a gain of Rs. 2,600.
Internationally, gold prices declined by $40, reaching $4,285 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 6,532 per tola, maintaining their new all-time high and continuing to attract investor attention alongside gold.
