Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new all-time high on Monday, following gains in the international market.
According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs. 3,400 per tola, reaching Rs. 393,700. The price of 10 grams also climbed by Rs. 2,915 to Rs. 337,534.
The increase follows Saturday’s rise when the per tola price stood at Rs. 390,300 after a gain of Rs. 1,700.
International prices also moved higher, with gold recorded at $3,719 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $34 increase during the day, APGJSA reported.
Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs. 63 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs. 4,595.
