Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Thursday, mirroring losses in the international market. The price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 4,100, settling at Rs. 384,000, the first drop recorded this month.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,515, bringing it down to Rs. 329,218.
This decline follows a period of stability on Wednesday, when gold prices remained unchanged at Rs. 388,100 after reaching a record high on Tuesday.
In the international market, gold prices also dropped significantly. The rate per ounce fell by $36, closing at $3,618, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
Silver prices in the local market also saw a decline. The price per tola dropped by Rs. 32, settling at Rs. 4,326.
