The price of 24 karat gold witnessed a decrease of Rs. 100 per tola on Thursday and was sold at Rs. 352,900 against its sale at Rs. 353,000 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported.
It is pertinent to mention here that the price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 10,200 per tola in a five-day losing streak before an increase of Rs. 300 per tola on Wednesday. However, Thursday’s saw gold fall by Rs. 2,000 per tola.
Today’s decline takes the overall decrease in price during the last eight days to Rs. 12,000 per tola.
The prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also decreased by Rs. 86 to Rs. 302,555 to from Rs. 302,641.
The rates of per tola silver and ten grams remained unchanged at Rs. 3,900 and Rs. 3,344 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased rate stood at $3,302 per ounce (with a premium of $20), a loss of $1.
