A key meeting between the government and the All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA) is set to take place today (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah to review the demands of government employees.
According to AGEGA President Rehman Ali Bajwa, employees have postponed their protest until February 20 but have given the government a 10-day deadline to approve their demands.
He urged workers to remain prepared to protest against the anti-educational and anti-employee policies of the current government.
The meeting will be attended by key officials, including Minister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz, MNA Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, the Special Secretary of the Interior Ministry, and security officials.
