Govt Likely to Increase Salaries by 6%

The federal government has decided to increase the salaries and pensions in the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, sources confirmed to ProPakistani. As per the details, serving government employees will receive a 6% raise in their monthly salaries. Retired employees will also benefit from the budget announcement, with an up to 10% hike in their monthly pensions. The cabinet meeting is scheduled for today, and formal approval will be given to the budget FY 2025-26 in the meeting.
