The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has seemingly dismissed India’s request to re-examine loans provided to Pakistan.
The IMF’s representative for Pakistan, Mahir Binici, told ProPakistani that the Executive Board meeting for Pakistan has already been scheduled.
Benici confirmed that the IMF Executive Board meeting is set for May 9.
During the meeting, the first review of the existing loan program will be presented to the board, the IMF representative added.
Additionally, the board will also consider Pakistan’s request for a program related to climate financing, according to Benici.
