The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has successfully recovered Rs. 3.81 billion from 128,395 chronic defaulters in various districts, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara.
According to a Lesco spokesperson, Rs. 568 million was recovered from 17,454 defaulters in the Northern Circle, while Rs. 753 million was collected from 16,158 defaulters in the Eastern Circle. Similarly, the Central Circle saw recoveries amounting to Rs. 615 million from 15,578 defaulters.
In other areas, Rs. 263 million was recovered from 8,750 defaulters in the Southern Circle, and Rs. 298 million was collected from 11,933 defaulters in the Nankana Sahib Circle.
The Sheikhupura Circle contributed Rs. 573 million from 15,913 defaulters, while Rs231 million was recovered from 19,864 defaulters in the Okara Circle. Lastly, the Kasur Circle accounted for Rs. 508 million recovered from 22,745 defaulters.
