Cement dispatches in July 2025 rose by 30.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) to 4.0 million tons, up from 3.1 million tons in July 2024. Domestic dispatches increased 18.4 percent YoY to 3.0 million tons. On a month-on-month basis, total dispatches rose 15.3 percent in July 2025 due to normalization after Eid holidays.
In regional terms, northern local dispatches were up 12.3 percent YoY to 2.4 million tons, while southern local dispatches increased 54.2 percent YoY to 570,000 tons.
Exports grew 84.2 percent YoY to 1.0 million tons in July 2025. Southern exports surged 73.2 percent YoY to 776,000 tons, while northern exports increased 134.0 percent YoY to 232,000 tons, up from 99,000 tons in July 2024.
Overall, total dispatches from the southern region increased by 64.6 percent YoY, while northern region dispatches rose by 17.6 percent YoY. Industry utilization stood at 57 percent in July 2025, with 47 percent in the north and 95 percent in the south.
