Maple Leaf Cement Factory Considers Acquisition of Pioneer Cement

Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCF) has announced that its Board of Directors is considering the potential acquisition of shares in Pioneer Cement Limited, according to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The company stated that the acquisition is subject to the finalization and negotiation of commercial terms, completion of due diligence, execution of definitive agreements, a public offer, and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. MLCF assured that it will keep the exchange informed of any material developments as the transaction progresses. To manage the process, MLCF has appointed Next Capital Limited as the Manager to the Offer, authorizing the firm to fulfill all legal and procedural requirements related to the public announcement of intention and the offer itself.
