Mari Begins Gas, Condensate Production At Another Well in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) has commenced gas and condensate production from the Shewa discovery in the Waziristan Block, KP Province, following the completion of a gas transmission pipeline by SNGPL. The production is currently in the Extended Well Testing (EWT) phase, with an average output of 26 MMSCFD of gas and 244 barrels per day of condensate. Output is being gradually ramped up as the gas processing plant stabilizes its operating parameters and export systems. Mari Energies operates the Waziristan Block with a 55 percent working interest, while Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Orient Petroleum Inc. hold 35 percent and 10 percent stakes, respectively. The company highlighted that this milestone strengthens Pakistan’s energy security and contributes to the socio-economic development of the region.
