Mari Energies Announces Oil and Gas Discovery

Mari Energies Limited has announced a significant oil and gas discovery at its Mari Ghazij CF-B1 exploration well, located in the Mari Development & Production Lease (D&PL) in Sindh. According to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on October 17, 2025, the well was spud-in on September 12 and drilled to a total depth of 1,195 meters into the SUL formation, targeting oil-prone zones within the Ghazij formation. During testing, the well produced 305 barrels per day of oil and 3 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas, with a wellhead flowing pressure of 225 psi at a 48/64 inch choke size. Mari Energies is the sole operator of the Mari D&PL, holding a 100% working interest in the project. The company described the find as a result of its ongoing exploratory efforts and has notified both the PSX and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The discovery is expected to contribute positively to the company’s production profile and the country’s energy sector.
