Mari Energies, Ghani Chemical Ink Deal for Gas Recovery Project in Sindh

Mari Energies Limited and Ghani Chemical Industries Limited have signed a term sheet to jointly explore a gas recovery initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As part of the agreement, both companies will collaborate to assess the feasibility of processing vent and exhaust gases from the Sachal Gas Processing Complex (SGPC) located in the Mari Field, Daharki, Sindh. The proposed project is aligned with Mari Energies’ broader sustainability goals and efforts to cut down on emissions. If found to be technically and commercially viable, the two companies plan to form a joint venture and establish a dedicated project company to execute the initiative. The Project is part of Mari Energies’ endeavour towards sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Subject to technical and commercial feasibility, a Joint Venture Agreement shall be entered into for establishing a Project Company to jointly execute the Project.
