The high-level meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the development of the housing industry was postponed for the second time in two days on Friday.
According to sources, yesterday the participants of the meeting waited for the premier for over two hours for the said meeting at the PM Secretariat. However, they were informed that due to an urgent engagement of the prime minister, the meeting has been postponed to Friday.
However, the premier was once again busy and the meeting couldn’t be held today either. No new date for the meeting has been announced for now.
The meeting is supposed to consider the recommendations of the Task Force to address critical housing challenges.
